Along with Gloria Lebowitz, we created "Poetry Day," a celebration of poetry
during Spring of 2002. We generated interest through advertisements and personal requests
of the poets we know on campus. Students and faculty attended the event to help
celebrate and create awareness of poetry as a viable, vivacious liberal arts topic.
Designed, coded, and implemented curriculum for Introduction to Poetry, English 275,
Winter 2002.
Worked with members of liberal arts faculty on assessment, preparing for
accreditation. Fall 2001-02.

Chaired committee to create and pilot English 100 class, filling the gap between
English 99 and English 101 since English 101 is text-based at this time, yet there has not
been a class which meets that need.
